I have a Wii LAN adapter and a broadband modem cable. I stick to test the cable modem for my Wii LAN adapter and preform the connection, but I've still got the error code. Can anyone help me with this?

Yes, you can, plug the Wii LAN adapter than you have done, and you should make a new connection to the Internet settings in the Options menu in the Wii Wii. Choose a vacuum connection and click cable connection instead of wireless test to see if it works
Ummmmmmm ...... NO! I do not think Wii can be connected via a cable modem.
